ANDY SUMMERS

Andy joined Carson & Partners in October 2016 and has over thirteen years experience since qualifying as an architect in 2004. Andy initially studied at Edinburgh College of Art before taking his Diploma at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Art in Copenhagen, Denmark. His received his Part III form the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London.

Andy has worked on a diverse range of projects both in the UK and internationally. Working for Zaha Hadid Architects for five years he has extensive site experience helping design and deliver the Riverside Museum in Glasgow. Other projects with ZHA included the South Souks department store in Beirut, Lebanon, the Central Bank of Iraq in Baghdad and the Investcorp building for the University of Oxford. Andy has also worked for other established architects such as Terry Pawson, Trevor Horne and Oliver Chapman.

Andy complements working in practice by also teaching architecture part-time at the University of Edinburgh.
